KH Dark Road is amazing (5/11/25)
For the last year I've been playing all Kingdom Hearts games, for now I've finished:
- Kingdom hearts
- RE:Chain of Memories
- The 358/2 Movie
- Kingdom Hearts 2
- Birth By Sleep
- The RE:Coded Movie
- Dream Drop Distance
- 0.2 Birth By Sleep A fragemntary Passage
- X Back Cover
- Dark Road
Now KH 3 and Melody of Memory are left. I KNOW I DIDN'T PLAY OR WATCH X OR UNION X, that would take half my
life span, I'll just watch a summary or something, also I've been getting all secret endings, the secret episode and
"blank points" cutscene from bbs was amazing.
I already played KH 3 some years ago and barely remember it, I'm so excited to play it.
But going back to what this log is about.
I just finished watching all Dark Road cutscenes, I really really liked it, Xehanort's characterization was surprisingly
on point with his older self, although I feel that Eraqus didn't feel like Eraqus, of course he wouldn't act like his older
self, but he was much more "Sora-esque" than what I expected, but there were some moments that really felt like bbs's Eraqus.
It's funny how much Nomura likes using dead people especially dead girls to motivate his characters.
Baldur's whole motivation was his sister, and for Xehanort, of course he had a lot of stuff happen to him, including all
his friends dying, but the last straw really was Vor, and it seemed to also hit Eraqus hard, since they both stayed a bit
longer at her grave when putting flowers.
Classic Nomura
